Job summary

Aureos are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Dungeness office and form part of the Commercial team. You will assist the commercial team with profitability, cash management, cost control and accurate reporting on national infrastructure projects across the UK.

Reporting to the Regional Commercial Manager, you will manage application/credit control, optimise income, cost forecasting, change control and sub-contract processes while supporting tendering and risk management.

Qualifications

• Degree educated or HND/HNC equivalent.
• Substantial experience in contracting commercial departments.
• Experience on multi-disciplined HV/LV infrastructure projects desirable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• ERP COINS experience desirable.
• Driving license desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the contract delivery team to ensure profitability, cash management, cost control and accurate reporting.
• Manage application and credit control processes.
• Optimise income and manage costing and forecasting.
• Manage change control, risk, CVRs, and the full sub-contract cycle.
• Provide commercial advice to Project Team and develop team spirit within Project Commercial Team and with Client and Subcontractors.
• Maintain alignment to group commercial policies and legislation; drive continuous improvement.
