Aldwych Consulting is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support infrastructure projects across energy and utilities, based in Hampshire.

The role focuses on commercial management from start to finish, including cost control, forecasting and liaising with operational teams to drive profitability. Qualifications

• Senior Quantity Surveyor with construction/infra experience.
• Strong commercial management and contract administration skills.
• Experience in costs, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of subcontractor management and change control.
• Experience on multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.
• HV/LV infrastructure experience is advantageous.
• DNO or private networks experience is beneficial.
• Degree, HNC or HND in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial delivery of projects from start to completion.
• Oversee applications for payment and credit control processes.
• Manage cost control, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Prepare and review CVRs and cost-to-complete reports.
• Manage change control, variations and compensation events.
• Oversee subcontractor procurement, payments and final accounts.
• Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
• Provide commercial advice to project teams.
• Manage contractual disputes and support resolution.
• Contribute to tendering and contract review processes.
• Support and develop junior members of the commercial team.
