Job summary

Aldwych Consulting is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Hampshire. You will take ownership of the commercial management of major energy and utilities projects, driving profitability and rigorous cost control.

Responsibilities include CVRs, forecasts, cash-flow reporting and contract administration. Applicants should have NEC experience, a relevant degree, and a full UK driving license. Excellent development opportunities and benefits available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction or civil engineering.
• Experience with NEC contracts.
• Strong understanding of commercial reporting, cost control and forecasting.
• Experience managing subcontractors and commercial change.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial aspects of projects from award through to completion.
• Prepare and manage CVRs, forecasts and cost-to-complete reports.
• Manage applications for payment and maximise project income.
• Identify, price variations and change control.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, payments and final accounts.
• Review contractual terms and administer contracts.
• Monitor project costs, risks and financial performance.
• Attend site and project progress meetings.
• Work closely with operational teams to maintain commercial performance.
