Job summary

Galliford Try is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our South Coast–based team, with exposure across multiple sites and projects in the region. The role involves measuring and valuing works, preparing interim valuations, and managing contracts and procurement.

You will contribute to cost control and final accounts while working within a collaborative, high-performance environment. Ideally based in or around the South Coast; travel to various sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in the construction industry for a main contractor on design and build projects.
• Knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts.
• Degree-qualified with membership in a recognized professional body (RICS or IOB) or working towards it.

Responsibilities

• Analyse tender allowances and cost data.
• Measure and value works on site and from drawings for valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Agree, prepare and submit interim valuations according to dates.
• Administer Main Contract and Subcontract conditions.
• Oversee subcontract and design procurement.
• Manage subcontract payments, variations and final accounts.
• Submit Cost Value Reconciliations.
• Prepare cost to complete.
