Job summary

Galliford Try is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of projects within the Building Southern unit, predominantly in the Essex region. The role requires regional travel across multiple sites and a strong track record managing high-value schemes.

You will establish client and supply chain relationships, lead project teams, oversee pre-qualifications and bids, and champion safety and quality standards across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Currently working in a senior position within construction.
• Experience managing a portfolio of projects with each scheme above £5m in value.
• Experience on diverse construction projects including new build, refurbishment and fit out.
• Proven leadership, commercial awareness and ability to inspire and influence teams.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain regional relationships with clients and supply chain.
• Develop and maintain frameworks from second stage to financial close.
• Lead project teams, ensuring professional client engagement and regular liaison with client representatives.
• Support pre-qualifications and tender/bid processes to secure winning solutions.
• Promote the Delivering Excellence initiative and ensure quality and CBAB behaviours across projects.
