Galliford Try Group in Oxfordshire is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial administration, reporting and performance on a large project or multiple schemes.

You will prepare subcontract documentation, manage change, and submit monthly applications and CVRs, while supporting estimating teams with contractual expertise. NEC3/4 and main contract experience are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Good appreciation of standard forms of contract.
• Strong IT skills including Excel, Word & Contractual and Cost Management Systems (CEMAR, Oracle)
• Strong stakeholder management and communication capabilities.
• Solid knowledge of construction processes.
• NEC3/4 Option C experience.
• Main contract experience.
• First class time and outcome management skills.
• Professional qualification such as MCIOB or MRICS, ideally Incorporated member, working towards full membership (Desirable)
• Experience in Civil Engineering Environment (Highways/Rail/Water/Aviation) working with (Highways England or Local Authority Clients)
• Exposure on (large single or multiple smaller schemes)
• CSCS-As appropriate

Responsabilités

• Manage commercial administration, reporting and performance on a single large project or several smaller schemes.
• Produce and negotiate subcontract documentation (terms, prices, programme).
• Oversee subcontract packages including interim assessments and change management.
• Produce and issue commercial notices to Client and Subcontractors.
• Manage change and Compensation Event Quotations.
• Submit monthly applications to Client.
• Maintain site records with operations staff.
• Produce detailed monthly reports and CVRs.
• Maintain a detailed Cost Plan and cost analyses.
• Interpret expenditure reports from internal cost systems.
• Lead weekly progress and risk reduction meetings.
• Assist estimating and bid teams with contractual expertise.
