Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join the Thames Water Framework team based in Maple Lodge, Rickmansworth. The role focuses on cost-control, budgeting, and contract management across water infrastructure projects, under an IChemE Burgundy Book contract.

You will manage procurement, subcontractor payments, and lead a commercial team, with a 45-hour week and some flexibility. Experience with standard contracts and strong negotiation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in quantity surveying, construction management, engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage cost control, budgets and monthly forecasts.
• Oversee contract administration under the IChemE Burgundy Book.
• Lead procurement, tender documents and bid evaluation.
• Manage payments to subcontractors and monthly applications to client.
• Mentor and support a commercial team across multiple projects.
