Job summary

Galliford Try is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for roles in the UK, based at our on-site locations in England. The successful candidate will manage tender analysis, measurement and valuation of works, and administration of contract conditions across main and subcontract packages.

You should have a construction industry background with main contractor experience in Design & Build, along with JCT/NEC knowledge, and be degree-qualified with professional membership (RICS or IOB) or working

Qualifications

• Experience in the construction industry with a main contractor on Design and Build
• Sound knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts
• Able to work independently and in a team
• Degree qualified and professional membership desired

Responsibilities

• Analyze tender allowances
• Measure and value works on site and from drawings for valuations, variations and final accounts
• Agree, prepare and submit valuation dates and interim valuations
• Administer Main/Subcontract conditions
• Subcontract and Design Procurement
• Subcontract payments, variations and final accounts
• Submit Cost Value Reconciliations
• Prepare cost to complete
