Job summary

Egis Group, via Omnia Projects, seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage commercial and contractual aspects across energy projects from concept to delivery. You will work with project managers to ensure financial close, contract compliance and value for money on high voltage infrastructure assignments.

Based on site in Assington, Suffolk, the role requires NEC3/NEC4 experience, strong Excel skills and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

Experience with NEC3/NEC4 contracts.
Proficient in MS Excel and MS Outlook.
Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
Willing to travel with a full driving licence.
Experience with procurement and contract administration on HV/substation projects is desirable.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external parties.
Support project team in establishing commercial contracts and risk guidance.
Undertake procurement activities including tendering and award recommendations.
Prepare Early Warnings, Compensation Events and PMI communications.
Monitor cost reporting, cashflow and expenditure against budgets.
Provide contract and risk management support in governance meetings.
Assist in commercial/contractual responses to clients and subcontractors.
Contribute to programme realism and progress reviews at sites.
