Job summary

Egis is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support project managers and clients from concept through delivery to financial close on UK high‑voltage infrastructure projects.

You will manage commercial contracts (NEC3/NEC4, occasionally FIDIC), lead risk reviews, prepare cashflow, cost reporting and value for money while ensuring compliance with client policies and governance across a portfolio of projects.

Qualifications

• Self-starter able to work remotely from management where applicable.
• HV substation construction project experience is desirable.
• Experience with NEC and FIDIC forms of contract.
• Strong MS Excel and MS Outlook proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external parties.
• Support project team in establishing commercial contracts and risk guidance.
• Prepare tender analyses, send enquiries to sub-contractors, and assist with award recommendations.
• Assist Project Manager with EW, CE, and PMI communications.
• Manage cost assurance activities including payments and budgets.
