Job summary

Aldwych Consulting Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its growing Cost Management team in the West Midlands. You will deliver pre- and post-contract QS services, monitor project costs and support procurement and contract administration across diverse sectors.

The role offers hybrid working arrangements, progression opportunities and CPD support, with a focus on building client relationships and delivering high-quality outcomes for projects across education,

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Chartered membership of RICS or strong commitment to achieving chartership.
• Experience delivering pre- and post-contract QS services.
• Solid understanding of procurement, cost management and reporting.
• Experience with JCT and NEC forms of contract.
• Knowledge of measurement methods including NRM.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre- and post-contract quantity surveying across a varied project portfolio.
• Monitor costs, validate applications and assess payments for accuracy.
• Prepare cost plans, budgets and forecasts; produce regular financial reports.
• Lead procurement activities and administer contracts, including variations.
• Provide commercial advice and monitor performance against budgets.
