Aldwych Consulting in London is seeking an ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team. You will manage cost planning, procurement strategies and commercial reporting across a diverse portfolio of building and infrastructure projects.

You will work with experienced professionals, taking ownership of day-to-day commercial responsibilities and supporting final accounts, with a clear path for professional development and career progression.

Qualificações

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in a construction consultancy or similar environment.
• Experience across building and/or infrastructure projects and cost control.
• Understanding of cost planning, procurement, contract administration and CVR processes.
• Familiarity with NEC contracts is beneficial for infrastructure projects.
• Strong numerical and communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Identify client requirements, prepare initial cost plans and estimates.
• Prepare cost plans, undertake value engineering and provide cost advice.
• Develop procurement strategies and provide recommendations to clients.
• Prepare tender and contract documentation, including BOQs.
• Manage tender processes, evaluate submissions and assist in recommendations.
• Monitor project expenditure, budgets and cost reports.
• Identify risks, manage variations and change control.
• Undertake valuations and administer payments.
• Assist with claims and contractual notices; maintain cost records.
