Aldwych Consulting Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking an ambitious Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager to join its growing team. You will manage your own project workstreams and develop client relationships across the built environment.

The role offers progression toward Senior Quantity Surveyor / Senior Cost Manager, with mentoring, APC support, and exposure to diverse sectors such as commercial, healthcare, education, residential and public sector.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering quantity surveying or cost management services in a consultancy, client-side or contractor environment.
• Experience across built environment sectors: commercial, healthcare, education, residential, public sector or mixed-use.
• Strong pre- and post-contract cost management understanding.
• Experience preparing cost plans, estimates, tender documents and commercial reports.
• Good knowledge of UK contracts, especially JCT and NEC.
• MRICS chartership or nearing qualification; commitment to achieving chartership within six months.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and CostX or similar software.

Responsabilités

• Deliver cost management from feasibility to final accounts.
• Prepare cost plans, cash flows, reports and benchmarking.
• Produce bills of quantities, schedules of work and tender docs.
• Support procurement, tender analysis and contractor recommendations.
• Monitor budgets, forecast costs and manage change control.
• Provide commercial advice and contract administration support under JCT/NEC.
• Attend meetings and deliver clear commercial updates.
