Hill McGlynn Recruitment in Maidstone, Kent, is recruiting an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor / Cost Consultant to join their established construction consultancy. You will deliver commercial and cost-management services across the project lifecycle, working with clients, contractors and design teams in a dynamic, professional environment.

This role offers a 37.5-hour week, hybrid working, and clear progression within a busy portfolio of construction and property projects.

Formación

• A relevant degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related construction discipline.
• Experience in Quantity Surveying or Cost Consultancy.
• Experience with cost planning, tendering, valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Good knowledge of construction contracts and procurement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Provide cost and commercial advice across projects from feasibility to final account.
• Prepare feasibility estimates, cost plans and project budgets.
• Provide cost advice to clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare tender documentation and manage tender processes.
• Analyse contractor submissions and prepare tender reports.
• Support procurement and contractor appointments.
• Prepare valuations and assess applications for payment.
• Monitor project expenditure against budgets.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities throughout project delivery.
• Maintain accurate project and commercial documentation.
