Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland seeks a senior Quantity Surveyor/Cost & Commercial Manager to shape pre- and post‑contract services across diverse projects. You will lead cost planning, procurement and financial management, with potential team leadership depending on seniority.

You will join a large PMCM group, delivering services to public and private clients. Based from Yorkshire/North East offices, travel to site and client teams is expected as required, with clear pathways to career development.

Qualifications

• MRICS or Assoc RICS, working towards a professional qualification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in QS/Cost and Commercial competencies per professional bodies.
• Demonstrable leadership and delivery experience at senior level where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post‑contract QS/Cost & Commercial services for projects.
• Lead estimating, cost planning, procurement and cost assurance activities.
• Manage financial/commercial management of programs across building/infrastructure.
• Mentor staff, contribute to bid work and client representation as needed.
