Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is looking for a Quantity Surveyor / Cost & Commercial Manager in Birmingham. You will provide pre- and post-contract services and lead QS/commercial projects at a senior level, managing a team while engaging with industry clients.

The ideal candidate will hold MRICS or equivalent qualifications and have strong analytical skills. WSP offers a hybrid working model, promoting work-life balance along with numerous health and wellbeing benefits.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience of QS/Cost and Commercial competencies.
• Senior-level management, project leadership and delivery experience.
• Willingness and ability to travel to site, client/project team offices, and project locations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver QS/Commercial projects at a senior level.
• Lead a QS/Commercial team and provide training and mentoring.
• Engage in cost assurance, procurement and post-contract financial/commercial management activities.

Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Prior QS/Cost and Commercial Management experience

Education

MRICS, Associate RICS or similar qualification

Degree or higher education qualification
