Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is expanding its Manchester team and seeks commercially focused professionals to deliver cost management and quantity surveying services across major infrastructure programmes.

You will join a diverse team of Cost Managers, Quantity Surveyors and Commercial Managers, working on projects across defence, energy, water, transport and more. The role offers hybrid working and clear career progression.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrable knowledge across Quantity Surveying, Cost Management and Commercial Management.
• Ability to develop strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and project teams.
• For senior-level applicants, demonstrable experience of project leadership, team management and successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Delivering Quantity Surveying, Cost Management and Commercial Management services throughout the project lifecycle.
• Providing cost assurance, procurement support, contract administration and commercial advisory services.
• Managing client relationships and ensuring successful project outcomes.
• Leading project commercial teams and supporting the development of junior colleagues.
• Contributing to business development activities, bid submissions and winning new work.
• Driving innovation, best practice and continuous improvement across commercial delivery.
• Representing WSP at client meetings, industry events and professional networks.
• Supporting people leadership, mentoring and team development activities.
