Job summary

VolkerStevin, part of VolkerWessels UK, is hiring a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support a long-term project in Scotland. The role is based primarily from our Glasgow City Centre office with occasional site travel to Helensburgh.

You will oversee all commercial and contractual matters on the assigned site, lead surveyors, and ensure timely valuations and reports, with security clearance a prerequisite.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent).
• Accredited by RICS/CIOB/ICES is preferred.
• Due to security requirements, British nationality is required.

Responsibilities

• Review and manage tender conditions, risk, and scope.
• Ensure monthly valuations and commercial reports are produced on time.
• Oversee subcontract payments and liabilities; manage subcontractor records.
• Provide direction to the site team on contractual planning and programme awareness.
• Develop and monitor warranty, PCG & Bond tracking with consultants and main contract.
