McCarthy Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a major energy infrastructure project in Dagenham. The role is full-time and permanent, with a salary up to £77,000 plus package.

You will report to the commercial leadership team and oversee valuations, cost reporting, subcontractor accounts, NEC contracts, and change management, ensuring robust commercial controls. Candidates should have NEC contract experience, infrastructure/civil engineering exposure, and qualifications

Qualifications

• Experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or an experienced Quantity Surveyor ready to step up.
• Strong NEC contract knowledge.
• Infrastructure, utilities, energy, civil engineering or major construction experience.
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness.
• HND, Degree or equivalent qualification.
• RICS/ICES membership or working towards chartership is desirable.

A leading infrastructure and engineering contractor is looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of a major long-term energy infrastructure project in Dagenham.

This is an opportunity to join a well-established business with a strong order book, a secure pipeline of work and a reputation for delivering complex infrastructure projects across the UK.

The Role

Reporting into the commercial leadership team, you'll play a key role in the commercial management of a major infrastructure project, ensuring robust commercial controls are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:
