Job summary

Up Front Recruitment is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a specialist remediation contractor based in Cardiff with UK-wide site travel. You will lead commercial delivery from tender to final account, working with Project Managers and Site Teams to maximise profitability.

The role requires strong NEC/JCT knowledge, CVR experience, and a hands-on approach to live projects across the UK.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering, remediation or a similar construction environment.
Strong knowledge of CVRs, cost reporting, valuations, subcontract management, change control and final accounts.
Experience managing projects commercially from tender through to final account.

Responsibilities

Manage the commercial delivery of projects from tender through to final account.
Prepare cost plans, budgets, forecasts and monthly commercial reports, including CVRs.
Prepare and agree applications for payment and valuations.
Manage subcontract procurement, payments, variations and final accounts.
Administer projects under NEC and JCT contracts.
Identify and manage commercial risks, opportunities and changes.
Undertake site measurement and valuation of completed works.
Build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
