Groupe Ortec is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Cardiff. In this role, you will manage the commercial delivery of complex projects, ensuring profitability and strong client relationships.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in civil engineering or remediation, with a strong understanding of NEC and JCT contracts. We offer a contributory pension scheme and other benefits to support your career growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or remediation.
• Strong knowledge of cost reporting, valuations, and subcontract management.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial delivery of projects from tender to final account.
• Prepare cost plans, budgets, and monthly commercial reports.
• Build strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.

Skills

Commercially astute

Strong commercial judgement

NEC and JCT contract experience

Excellent negotiation skills

Education

Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying
