Job summary

SEDR Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial delivery of remediation and enabling works projects across the UK, with remote/hybrid working and travel to sites as required.

You will manage cost plans, CVRs, valuations and final accounts, and administer NEC and JCT contracts, working closely with Project Managers and site teams to drive profitable delivery and strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Senior Quantity Surveyor with civil engineering/remediation experience.
• Experience handling NEC and JCT contracts.
• Commercial responsibility from tender to final account.
• Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver commercial management from tender to final account.
• Prepare cost plans, budgets, forecasts and CVRs.
• Prepare and agree payment applications, valuations and final accounts.
• Manage subcontract procurement, payments, variations and final accounts.
• Administer NEC and JCT contracts.
• Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
• Monitor costs with operations to improve performance.
• Build relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal teams.
