Job summary

Involve Recruitment is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a leading infrastructure contractor in North Wales. You will manage multiple NEC-based contracts and drive commercial performance across water, power, and rail projects.

The role covers cost forecasting, CVRs, budgets, procurement, and final accounts, with a focus on protecting financial position and delivering projects on time and within contract terms. Previous NEC experience essential.

Qualifications

• Proven background in quantity surveying within civil/ infrastructure sectors.
• Experience administering NEC contracts and managing compensation events.
• Ability to supervise multiple projects and protect financial position.

Responsibilities

• Full commercial management of multiple projects through the lifecycle.
• Administer NEC contracts including compensation events and notices.
• Prepare cost forecasts, CVRs, budgets and monthly reports.
• Procurement, negotiation and management of subcontract packages.
• Valuation of completed works and cash flow management.
• Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
• Negotiate variations and final accounts with clients and subs.
• Provide commercial support to operations for efficient delivery.
• Build strong relationships with clients, supply chain partners and stakeholders.
