Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Distinguished Solution Engineer for UK Public Sector, a senior IC who combines business consulting, technical credibility, and customer strategy. You will engage with government leaders, shape platform solutions, and demonstrate secure, scalable AI-enabled engagements.

You will lead workshops, partner with sales teams, craft multi‑product strategies, and drive complex opportunities while ensuring compliance and value across lines of business.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent relevant experience required.
• Experience with pre‑sales or implementation of CRM or high value business solutions.
• Proven ability to engage at C-level with business and technology audiences.
• Working understanding of AI and its enterprise applications, including LLMs and agentic workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical and business discovery across the UK Public Sector accounts, running workshops and stakeholder sessions to uncover real challenges.
• Build trusted partnerships with Sales, acting as a co‑pilot to the Account Team and contributing commercially and technically.
• Shape and deliver solution strategies that connect Salesforce's platform to government priorities.
• Demonstrate value through polished demos, rapid prototypes, or hands‑on PoCs.
• Develop AI and data viewpoints relevant to Public Sector and govern AI within policy and regulatory constraints.
• Demonstrate value through Government procurement processes with senior technical stakeholders.
• Coordinate specialists, SMEs, and delivery resources to progress deals and share learnings.
• Contribute to the SE community with knowledge sharing and reusable assets.
