Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Distinguished Solution Engineer for its UK Public Sector. You will lead technical and business discovery, shape integrated solutions, and work closely with Sales to position the Salesforce platform across government accounts.

You’ll craft compelling demos and prototypes, apply AI and data perspectives to enable scale and governance, and engage with C‑suite stakeholders throughout the procurement process. A proactive, collaborative mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT industry experience, pre‑sales or implementation of CRM solutions.
• Strong grasp of enterprise tech architecture: cloud platforms, APIs, data infra, security.
• Proven ability to engage at C‑level with business and tech audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presenters who listen.
• Working understanding of AI in enterprises: LLMs, agentic workflows, automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical and business discovery across UK Public Sector accounts, running workshops and problem solving.
• Build trusted partnerships with Sales, acting as co‑pilot to the Account Team.
• Shape and deliver solution strategies integrating Salesforce multi‑product platforms for government priorities.
• Create and demonstrate demos, rapid prototypes, and hands‑on proofs of concept.
• Develop AI and data viewpoints relevant to the Public Sector context and governance.
• Demonstrate value throughout procurement with senior stakeholders and executives.
• Coordinate internal resources and share knowledge to raise the team’s capabilities.
