Job summary

Databricks is seeking a senior Enterprise Account Executive to own and grow the Public Sector business across Ireland and Scotland. You will inherit an established book of strategic government accounts and expand usage of the Databricks Intelligence Platform while building new relationships across departments and agencies.

You will map buying centres, develop a clear national plan, and orchestrate cross-functional resources to deliver measurable customer outcomes and sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of quota attainment selling into public-sector accounts.
• Ability to build territory/go-to-market strategies from scratch.
• Experience managing strategic accounts and transitioning inheritances while prospecting new ones.
• Familiarity with Irish government structures, priorities, procurement, and funding processes.
• Sales experience in cloud software, data platforms, or AI/enterprise tech.
• Experience with consumption-based or co-sell models with major cloud providers.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute an Ireland-wide go-to-market plan prioritising government agendas and agencies.
• Own an existing portfolio of Irish government accounts and expand usage of the Databricks Platform.
• Develop net-new opportunities across departments and agencies in collaboration with growth teams.
• Translate national and departmental priorities into compelling Data and AI value propositions and business cases.
• Engage multiple buying centres, build champions, and accelerate opportunities.
