Job summary

Abzena in Cambridge is seeking a Scientist II/Sr Scientist in Protein Mass Spectrometry to design and carry out routine and complex experiments. You will develop and validate analytical methods under supervision and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure data quality.

You will manage your own work schedule to meet deadlines, analyse data, and contribute to reports, presentations, and client meetings. The role involves drafting quality documents and collaborating with colleagues in a biotech

Responsibilities

To design and carry out routine and complex experiments as necessary
To perform and develop complex/novel analytical method under supervision
To maintain and troubleshoot instrumentation
To manage own work schedule to ensure tasks are met within the expected timeframe
To analyse and interpret your own data
To be responsible for the quality of your own work
To prepare data for, contribute to the drafting of reports and presentations
To contribute to internal and client meetings
To draft and contribute to Quality and Controlled documents
To undertake any other duties relevant to the position and level
