The Environment Agency is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the financial and business management of a major digital transformation programme. This role involves strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring value for money while managing complex financial data within a dynamic team environment.

We offer an exciting opportunity to lead in the strategic planning and business management of the largest digital transformation programme within the Environment & Business directorate. The Regulatory Services Programme is responsible for delivering digital services that will transform environmental regulation.
You will be a key member within the Programme Management Office (PMO), providing valuable input into the financial and business management of the programme. Your role will support risk mitigation, issue resolution, and removing barriers to ensure alignment with the business case and value for money.
We seek someone with a proven track record in managing complex financial data, collaborating effectively, and driving value for money and ongoing investment.
You will work within the Digital, Innovation, and Programmes team, responsible for implementing the Digital Strategy across Environment & Business. This involves working with multidisciplinary teams, shared services, and third-party suppliers to deliver user-centered digital services that are efficient, simple, and fast.
