Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity to lead the strategic planning and business management of the largest digital transformation programme within the Environment & Business directorate. The Regulatory Services Programme is responsible for delivering digital services that will transform environmental regulation.
You will play a key role within the Programme Management Office (PMO), providing valuable input into the financial and business management of the programme to mitigate risks, resolve issues, and ensure value for money, aligning with our business case.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong track record in managing complex financial information, collaborating across teams, and driving value for money and ongoing investment.
Key Tasks include:
The Team
The Digital, Innovation and Programmes team oversees the Digital Strategy implementation across E&B, shaping digital services that improve regulation processes.
You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including Defra shared services and third-party suppliers, to develop user-centered online services and digital platforms that are efficient, simple, and fast.
