Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic planning and business management of the largest digital transformation programme within the Environment & Business directorate. The Regulatory Services Programme is responsible for delivering digital services that will transform environmental regulation.
You will lead within the Programme Management Office (PMO), providing valuable input into the financial and business management of the programme to support risk mitigation, issue resolution, and barrier removal, ensuring alignment with the business case and value for money.
We seek someone with a strong track record in managing complex financial information, collaborating to drive value for money, and influencing ongoing investment.

The Team
The Digital, Innovation and Programmes team oversees the Digital Strategy and its implementation across E&B, setting the strategic direction for digital services transformation.
You will work with a multidisciplinary team, including Defra shared services and third-party suppliers, to shape delivery of user-centered online services and digital platforms that are more efficient, simpler, and faster to use.

You’ll have an incident management objective integrated into your development plan, with support and training provided.
Flexible working arrangements are supported, including job sharing. The location is flexible, with an EA Office base.
