Job summary
Leonardo UK is seeking a Project Engineering Manager to lead software development across key programmes, delivering models and software from requirements to acceptance. You will manage a team of software engineers and system modellers, work with stakeholders to define delivery methods, and ensure resources and plans meet cost, schedule and performance targets.

Qualifications
- Experience leading software engineering teams on complex development projects.
- Strong understanding of software lifecycle and processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead a dynamic software engineering team to deliver software on time, cost and performance.
- Create engineering plans with milestones, risks and interdependencies.
- Review project positions, adapt plans to mitigate cost/schedule/performance risks.
- Prepare and communicate monthly engineering status reports.
- Coordinate engineering input into bids during the business-winning process.
- Line manage software engineers and system modellers.
