Job summary

Capita is building a Talent Pool for Lead Programme Planners to support large, complex transformation programmes. In these roles you would work within a Portfolio Office to develop, maintain and assure integrated plans, providing clear schedule insight and identifying risks across UK client programmes.

Capita offers a flexible, home-based arrangement with occasional travel to Capita offices and client sites across the UK.

Qualifications

Strong experience in programme planning and scheduling within complex delivery environments.
Lead-level capability in planning initiatives and governance.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project and guiding others in its use.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain and assure integrated plans and schedules across complex programmes and portfolios.
Collate and analyse schedules at different levels, creating a clear portfolio view for stakeholders.
Track progress, milestones, dependencies and risks impacting delivery.
Provide planning insight for executive reporting and highlight delivery issues.
Facilitate planning workshops with senior stakeholders to build coherent, achievable plans.
Promote planning standards and continuous improvement of frameworks.
