Page Executive in London seeks a Head of Transformation Portfolio Planning to lead the design and delivery of enterprise portfolio planning for a large bank. You will steer budgets, forecast demand vs capacity, and coach a team of planners while partnering with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in portfolio planning within the financial services industry.
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
• Solid understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Effective communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Experience of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience of working with financial and/or headcount planning tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement portfolio planning strategies to align with business objectives.
• Monitor and evaluate portfolio performance, providing insights and recommendations.
• Manage the end-to-end portfolio budget, including forecasting, tracking, and variance analysis.
• Oversee team-level expense management and headcount planning in alignment with demand.
• Provide insights and analysis to inform prioritise and enable senior management decision making.
• Manage the intake, triage, and prioritization process for change initiatives across the business.
• Maintain a clear view of demand vs. capacity and ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective resource allocation.
• Lead the preparation of portfolio forecasts and reports for senior stakeholders.
• Identify potential risks and opportunities within the portfolio and propose mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and policies.
• Support decision-making processes with data-driven analysis.Provide leadership and guidance to the portfolio planning team.
