About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Production Engineer to join a leading manufacturing organisation. This is a key role focused on driving process improvements, optimising production efficiency, and supporting the integration of new technologies. You will lead continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate across departments to ensure high-quality, cost-effective manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse production data to identify opportunities for improvement in quality, delivery, and efficiency.
• Lead Lean and Six Sigma-based continuous improvement projects.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Support the implementation of new equipment and automation technologies.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Provide training and guidance to production teams on updated processes and best practices.
• Report on improvement project outcomes and present measurable results to management.

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
• Lean / Six Sigma certification preferred (Black Belt advantageous).
• Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills.
• Knowledge of quality systems and manufacturing best practices.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Experience with rubber/polymer manufacturing and automation will be an advantage.
