Job summary

Glanua seeks a Senior Process & Hydraulic Engineer to lead delivery of water and wastewater treatment projects from concept through commissioning. You will own packages, coordinate MEICA inputs, and drive robust design solutions that meet client requirements and project outcomes.

You will mentor junior engineers, engage with clients, and work within a one-team culture across Ireland and the UK, facing multi-disciplinary challenges and lifecycle design considerations.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 8 Honours Degree in Chemical, Water/Wastewater, Environmental, or Process Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• 7 to 12 years’ relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within water/wastewater or process engineering sectors.
• Technical knowledge across process and hydraulic engineering and project design.
• Experience leading design discussions, workshops, and client engagements.
• Strong ability to mentor and develop junior engineers and designers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver defined packages of work, coordinating with other disciplines.
• Develop high-impact design initiatives and efficient workflows across projects.
• Oversee and develop technical assessments of process and mechanical equipment.
• Produce and review design reports, layouts, PFDs, and P&IDs.
• Lead design discussions with clients and stakeholders and ensure design alignment.
