Job summary

Stantec is hiring a Senior Process Engineer to lead process engineering delivery for clean water and wastewater projects across the UK. You will develop practical solutions from concept through to implementation and collaborate with civil, mechanical, electrical and environmental specialists to deliver integrated designs.

You will own technical work packages, perform hydraulic assessments, and support site investigations while mentoring junior engineers and contributing to bids and innovation

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering.
• Experience in process engineering within water/wastewater sectors.
• Experience developing process calculations, mass balances and hydraulic assessments.
• Experience taking ownership of technical tasks within multidisciplinary projects.
• Good understanding of UK water industry challenges and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop process engineering solutions across clean water and wastewater projects.
• Undertake and review process calculations, mass balances, hydraulic assessments and deliverables.
• Own technical work packages and ensure quality and on-time delivery.
• Support process design from feasibility to construction support.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and contribute to technical development.
• Contribute to bids, frameworks and continuous improvement across the team.
