Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. seeks a Senior Process Engineer to deliver process engineering solutions for UK water and wastewater projects across multiple offices, including London, High Wycombe, Reading, Brighton, Southampton or Cambridge.

You will lead technical work packages, collaborate with design teams, and mentor junior engineers. You will contribute to site investigations, asset assessments and optimisation studies while engaging with clients to translate requirements into

Qualifications

• Experience in process engineering within water/wastewater/utilities sectors.
• Practical experience in process design, calculations, mass balances, hydraulic assessments.
• Good understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes and engineering principles.
• Ownership of technical tasks or work packages within multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with practical engineering solutions.
• Good written and verbal communication; able to work with clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage own workload within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Develop process engineering solutions across water and wastewater projects.
• Undertake process calculations, mass balances, hydraulic assessments and evaluations.
• Develop and review technical reports, specifications and calculations.
• Take ownership of technical work packages and ensure timely delivery.
• Support process design from concept to construction support.
• Contribute to site investigations and optimisation studies.
• Collaborate with civil, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and environmental engineers.
• Engage with clients to translate challenges into practical solutions.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and contribute to team development.
• Contribute to technical innovation and continuous improvement.
