Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Principal Process Engineer to lead Clean Water projects across the Midlands, Wales and South West, including Cardiff, with a strong focus on delivering practical, sustainable water solutions. You will own process engineering delivery, develop designs and reports, and mentor junior engineers within a growing regional team.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or a related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) with a relevant professional institution.
• Significant experience delivering Clean Water process engineering within the UK water sector.
• Strong understanding of water treatment processes and process engineering principles.
• Experience developing and reviewing process designs and technical deliverables.
• Proven ability to take technical ownership within multidisciplinary projects.
• Good understanding of UK water industry standards, regulations and design requirements.
• Confident communicator with the ability to work effectively with clients and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead role on technically challenging Clean Water projects and influence solutions from concept to delivery.
• Work directly with clients and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Develop and review process designs, calculations, specifications and technical reports.
• Provide technical input from optioneering and feasibility through to detailed design and delivery.
• Contribute to proposals and framework opportunities and mentor engineers.
