Stantec is expanding its Clean Water processing capability across the Midlands, Wales and South West, with opportunities in Cardiff. The Senior Principal Process Engineer will lead technical direction on major Clean Water programmes, shaping strategies and delivering robust, sustainable solutions.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate multidisciplinary delivery, and maintain strong client relationships while supporting growth of Stantec’s Clean Water capability across Cardiff and other UK

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) with a relevant body.
• Significant experience in Clean Water process engineering in the UK water sector.
• Extensive experience across water treatment processes, design, optimisation, and/or strategic infrastructure.
• Proven leadership and technical assurance on complex multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong understanding of UK water industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver process engineering on Clean Water projects across the project lifecycle.
• Develop process solutions, perform design calculations and prepare technical documentation.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, electrical and other disciplines to resolve technical challenges.
• Provide technical direction and influence design decisions on major programmes.
• Mentor and develop engineers within growing teams and build client relationships.
