Job summary

Hornetsecurity is seeking a Senior Presales Consultant in Reading, UK, to lead complex presales engagements and act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, partners, and sales teams. The role is based in Reading with a hybrid working model.

You will deliver demos, workshops, and POCs, collaborate with Product teams, and mentor colleagues while driving continuous improvement in presales processes and tools.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in Presales, Solution Consulting, Sales Engineering, or similar customer-facing technical roles.
• Strong experience in cybersecurity, cloud services, and Microsoft 365 ecosystems.
• Proven ability to lead complex technical sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience delivering technical demonstrations, workshops, POCs, and solution architecture discussions.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex presales engagements from discovery through solution design and transition to Customer Success teams.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Deliver compelling demonstrations, workshops, executive presentations, and technical deep-dives.
• Lead POCs, technical evaluations, and high-value customer engagements.
• Own technical responses for RFPs, RFIs, tenders, and security questionnaires.
• Build relationships with senior customer stakeholders to align objectives with solutions.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Development for market feedback.
• Mentor and lead within the Presales team and foster knowledge sharing.
