Job summary

Freshworks is seeking a self-motivated Lead Solutions Engineer to support our Pre-Sales team. You will act as the technical expert, helping the sales organization pursue new business opportunities with mid-market and enterprise prospects, advising on ITIL/ITSM aligned solutions and cloud-based infrastructure.

You will demonstrate Freshworks value, tailor demonstrations to client needs, and collaborate across Sales, Product Management, and Client Services to drive successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in a technical solution engineering role.
• Experience in mid-market to enterprise software/pre-sales environments.
• Strong ability to demo solutions and articulate value propositions to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with regional sales teams to convert prospects to customers.
• Deliver bespoke technical product demonstrations at meetings, webinars, and events.
• Present product messaging to highlight Freshworks value through demos and POC management.
• Respond to functional and technical inquiries and analyze customer workflows and infrastructure.
• Gather and convey customer requirements to central product management.
• Advocate for Freshworks products to prospects, customers, and partners.
• Coordinate with sales, product management, and client services to execute sales strategy.
• Train sales teams on product features and technical aspects.
