Job summary

VMware, Inc. is seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer to support the sales team and channel partners in the Public Sector across the United Kingdom. You will provide technical recommendations, deliver customised presentations, and design complex solutions leveraging VMware products and partner technologies.

The role involves presenting to senior stakeholders, developing new business opportunities, and driving PoCs with customers and OEM/channel partners. International travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience with server operating systems (Windows/Linux).
• Strong virtualization and enterprise IT understanding.
• Excellent presentation and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% including international travel.

Responsibilities

• Present VMware product features to managers, directors, and admins.
• Provide technical and strategic VMware solutions across the region.
• Maintain knowledge of VMware product set and key benefits.
• Act as a technical resource within the region and mentor others.
• Drive new sales opportunities through relationships with accounts and partners.
• Develop customer-oriented solutions using VMware and partner offerings.
• Create training content for the SE organization when appropriate.
