Job summary

Computacenter AG & Co. oHG is seeking a Presales Solution Lead to drive technical engagements in Private Cloud and data centre transformations for enterprise customers across the UK.

You will shape strategy, build senior-level relationships, and translate complex infrastructure challenges into value-led VMware-based solutions in collaboration with our VMware specialists. The role offers exposure to VMware Cloud Foundation and a chance to influence product and service propositions within the Data

Qualifications

• Proven experience owning customer relationships from a technical or presales standpoint.
• Deep technical expertise and strong relationships within the VMware ecosystem.
• Experience designing innovative customer solutions aligned to vendor platforms.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to identify and develop revenue opportunities.
• Experience positioning and selling professional services alongside technology solutions.
• Demonstrable experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).
• Active involvement in the VMware community (VMUG, vExpert, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical engagement on complex Private Cloud and data centre transformation opportunities.
• Qualify customer requirements and shape end-to-end solutions based on VMware technologies and Computacenter services.
• Act as the principal technical champion for the VMware ecosystem within Computacenter.
• Build long-term, trusted relationships with senior technical and business stakeholders.
• Support pipeline growth and contribute directly to sales success for the Data Center & Hybrid Solution Area.
• Scope, define and enable services engagements, including VMware services entitlements.
• Influence vendor propositions and Private Cloud strategy with the CTO and Group Development.
• Represent Computacenter at VMware partner boards and industry events as a technical escalation point.
