Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. seeks a Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer focused on UK Regional Government in the North of England. This field-based, customer-facing role engages with business and technical leaders to align Cisco products with public sector needs.

You will craft multi-architecture solutions across Networking, Observability, Security, Collaboration, Compute and AI, deliver technical demonstrations, and support BOM and RFP/RFI processes to drive customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical customer-facing experience, preferably pre-sales.
• Experience in Enterprise Networking technologies (Switching, Wireless, Routing) and related areas.
• Experience with two or more of the listed areas (Networking, Automation, Data Centre, Security, Observability, Cloud).
• Proven ability to work autonomously and manage tasks/workstreams.
• Fluency in English with strong storytelling and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate Cisco's solutions into actionable plans for UK Public Sector customers.
• Lead technical presentations and demonstrations to customers and partners.
• Develop and present Bills of Materials and respond to RFPs/RFIs.
• Collaborate with business and technical leaders to align products with customer needs.
• Work across Networking, Observability, Security, Collaboration, Compute and AI portfolios to craft solutions.
