Kemp Recruitment Limited is seeking a Senior Powered Access Engineer in Peterborough, East Anglia, UK. The role focuses on overseeing workshop activity, planning servicing and inspections to maximise fleet availability, and hands-on fault finding.

Applicants should have an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, powered access or plant experience, and strong mechanical/electrical/hydraulic skills. Leadership experience and a valid UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
• Experience in powered access, plant, forklifts or similar.
• Strong mechanical, electrical/hydraulic and diagnostic skills.
• LOLER and PDI experience.
• Previous team leadership/supervisory experience.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsabilités

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the workshop and engineer workloads.
• Plan servicing, repairs, PDI and LOLER inspections to maximise fleet availability.
• Carry out hands-on servicing, maintenance and fault-finding.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, electronic and hydraulic faults.
• Lead, support and motivate a team of engineers.
• Work closely with the hire office to ensure equipment is ready for hire.
• Manage workloads and priorities within a busy hire environment.

Salary: £43,260 basic
OTE: £50,000+
Shifts: Monday - Friday 45 hour week

My client is a rapidly growing national provider of powered access and plant equipment, looking for an experienced Senior Powered Access Engineer to join their team.
The Role:

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, electronic and hydraulic faults.

What You’ll Need:
