Kemp Recruitment Limited is seeking a Mobile Powered Access Engineer to service and repair powered access equipment across the East region. You will perform PDIs, servicing, inspections, and manufacturer updates to keep equipment available on site.

The role requires NVQ Level 2 in plant maintenance or equivalent, strong mechanical and electro/hydraulic skills, and an IPAF certificate. You will join a supportive team with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Formación

• NVQ Level 2 in plant maintenance (or equivalent) is required.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with powered access equipment.
• Competent with electro/hydraulic systems and fault-finding/diagnostics.
• IPAF certification is required.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI), servicing, LOLER inspections, repairs and manufacturer updates on powered access equipment.
• Attend customer sites to diagnose and repair breakdowns, minimising equipment downtime.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and repairs to maximise machine availability.
• Record inspections and repairs accurately using a PDA and follow company procedures.
• Work with engineering team and hire office to manage workloads.

Salary: £40,000

OTE: £50,000

Hours: Monday – Friday 45 hour week

Overtime paid at 1.5

My client is a large and rapidly growing provider of powered access and plant equipment across the UK. They are looking for a skilled Mobile Powered Access Engineer to join their engineering team. The role will involve maintaining and servicing a growing fleet of powered access rental equipment, with the successful candidate visiting customer sites across the East region. The Role

• Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI), servicing, LOLER inspections, repairs and manufacturer updates on powered access equipment.

• Carry out preventative maintenance and repairs while maintaining high standards across the rental fleet.
• Accurately record inspections, repairs and maintenance using a company-issued PDA and follow all company procedures.
• Work closely with the engineering team and hire office to manage workloads and maximise machine availability.

What You’ll Need

• Engineering qualification, ideally in plant maintenance, to a minimum of NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with previous experience working on powered access equipment.
• Competent with electro/hydraulic systems and experienced in fault-finding and diagnostics.
• Valid IPAF Operator licence/certification.
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively in a busy mobile engineering environment.
