Job summary

Alecto Recruitment is partnering with a leading powered access specialist to recruit a Powered Access Engineer for the Kent/South East region. You will service, repair and inspect a wide range of MEWPs, scissor lifts, cherry pickers and more, with overtime and a company van provided.

The role requires hands-on mechanical, hydraulic and electrical skills, IPAF, and a full UK driving licence. You will travel across the South East delivering excellent customer service and high-quality reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical skills.
• Experience with powered access or similar equipment.
• Full UK driving licence.
• IPAF qualification, or willingness to obtain.
• LOLER experience is desirable.
• Ability to work independently and provide excellent customer service.

Alecto Recruitment is working with a leading powered access specialist who is looking for experienced Powered Access Engineers to join their growing team.

The Role

You'll be field-based across the South East, servicing, repairing and inspecting a wide range of powered access equipment, including MEWPs, scissor lifts, cherry pickers, mast lifts and telehandlers.

You’ll carry out:

• Servicing, maintenance and breakdown repairs
• Mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding
• LOLER inspections
• Diagnostics and preventative maintenance
• Customer site visits and technical support
• Accurate service and inspection reporting

About You

We're looking for an experienced Powered Access Engineer, Plant Engineer, Field Service Engineer or Heavy Plant Fitter with:

• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical skills
• Experience with powered access or similar equipment
• Full UK driving licence
• IPAF qualification, or willingness to obtain
• LOLER experience is desirable
• Ability to work independently and provide excellent customer service
