Job summary

Ably Resources are recruiting a Principal Power Systems Engineer to join a growing engineering consultancy in London, delivering complex electrical infrastructure for the UK and abroad. This permanent, hybrid role offers a senior technical position within a expanding Power Systems capability.

Your background should be strong in studies & modelling or design, with experience in ETAP or DIgSILENT PowerFactory and a solid grasp of electrical networks. Right to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in power systems studies and modelling or design.
• Proficiency with ETAP or DIgSILENT PowerFactory or similar tools.
• Background in industrial/manufacturing sectors is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform power system studies and electrical network analysis.
• Carry out load flow and fault level studies.
• Conduct protection and coordination studies.
• Develop electrical network modelling and design solutions.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Engage with clients and project stakeholders; support business growth.
