Job summary
Morson Edge is seeking a Senior Power Systems Engineer to join our power system analysis team in the UK. The role focuses on lead studies, liaising with clients, and delivering projects across a range of power system analyses.
The candidate should have 5+ years' experience in consultancy or related environments and be working towards CEng status. Familiarity with DIgSILENT, PSS/E, ETAP, IPSA and PSCAD is highly desirable. Hybrid working and career growth opportunities are offered.
Qualifications
- MSc, MEng or equivalent in electrical engineering or related field.
- 5+ years' experience in electrical engineering design or analysis.
- Knowledge of DiGSIlent, PSS/E, ETAP, IPSA or similar.
- Experience with loadflow, short circuit, arc flash, voltage disturbance harmonics, G99 and stability studies.
- Working towards Chartered Engineer (CEng).
Responsibilities
- Liaise with clients and manage project delivery.
- Support junior team members and provide technical guidance.
- Lead power system studies and simulations across projects.
- Contribute to selection and use of power system analysis tools.
