Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to support grid connection studies and transmission/distribution planning across the UK & Ireland. You will perform detailed power system analyses and contribute to multi-disciplinary reviews on innovative energy projects.

Proficiency in PSCAD/PowerFactory, Python scripting, and strong knowledge of UK Grid Code (G99, G5/5, P28) are essential, with a collaborative, client-facing mindset and a focus on delivering compliant, cost-effective

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering design consultancy or utility networks.
• Strong understanding of UK Grid Code, G99, G5/5, P28 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support electrical design through power system studies.
• Undertake grid code compliance studies using PSCAD, PowerFactory, PSS/E.
• Liaise with clients to drive technical outcomes and bid support.
